We tend to give change a bad rap as we get older and I get it. No doubt, it’s easier to do what we’ve always done, what we know how to do, and what we can do
without much effort. But, then we are the very ones who grumble when we don’t know what our kids or young coworkers are talking about or how they got that flight booked so fast.
I want you to think about a particular kind of change. It’s the change we allow ourselves.
I’ll give you an example. For years, I would get up each morning, get a cup of coffee, sit in the den and read my Bible along with a devotional. Afterward, I would get dressed for work and go on with my day. Until one day I realized I wasn’t getting much out of that time anymore AND by the time I got to my desk I couldn’t even remember what I had read earlier that morning. I needed to make a change, but doing so kinda felt like I just wasn’t trying hard enough.
But here’s the thing.
As long as we live, we will evolve and grow!
