Here’s what you do next: you keep going.
You take one more small step. You try again. Maybe consider a different approach. Or think about it a different way because if you keep doing the same thing you’re going to keep getting the same thing. Make an adjustment and keep moving.
Don’t think about how many times you’ve tried something and it didn’t pan out. Now you have a list of what won’t work. Super! That’s more than you had when you started.
We live in a great big world where unlikely people do unlikely things every day. There really is no reason you shouldn’t keep trying.
But IF you decide to shift toward a completely new direction, know that nothing in this life is wasted when you’re prayed up. And if you’re prayed up, you can buckle up, Hon, because God coaches and molds us through our experiences. He’s getting you ready for something better. (Romans 8:28)
And one more thing. Changing is not failing. Praying, then heading out to do something different is obedience. And that’s just being a good steward of God’s daily grace.
You’ve got this!
