I don’t know exactly how we learn (I’ve been listening to the Murdaugh Murders podcast if you know you know), but I do know this:
If we go into a learning opportunity with the presumption that we will never be capable of using the information presented, we cut ourselves short.
Let’s say you sit through a presentation or read a book or blog about how to become an astronaut. If you listen or read believing you’ll never be strong enough or smart enough, it’s like putting yourself at the back of the room. You’re not going to get it; it won’t sink in.
You are smart enough. You are strong enough. Maybe you need a few months to gain the physical strength or stamina for a project; do it. You have a brain, the ability to reason, and the ability to schedule and plan. You have determination and drive. And if you’re prayed up, you have another thing.
You have the knowledge that nothing is by accident and God puts you right where you are meant to be at the exact moment it’s beneficial for you and (hear this next part) *all his children*.
If God puts you in the time and place to learn something new, he intends for you to use it.
Be a confident learner…that’s a big deal.
